Demonstrators have painted the Ukrainian flag on the road outside the russian embassy in London ahead of the first anniversary of the war in Ukraine.
The protest was purportedly carried out by a campaign group Led By Donkeys. Activists created the flag using washable paint poured onto the road and then driven through by passing vehicles.
Four people, three men, and one woman were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and obstruction of traffic on the highway, the Metropolitan Police confirmed. They were taken to a police station in west London, where they remain. The police say they are investigating what happened.

"Tomorrow is the first anniversary of Putin's imperialist invasion of Ukraine, an independent state and a people with every right to self-determination. The existence of a massive Ukrainian flag outside his embassy in London will serve to remind him of that." they said on Twitter.
