Luhansk front less active after severe losses for russian forces
The Ukrainian local authorities recorded a "relative ceasefire" on the front line in the Luhansk region, Ukraine's eastern region, and part of Donbas after the russian army suffered serious losses, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhii Haidai, said on Thursday.
"The russians consider the Kreminna direction to be the main one. That's why they throw even military staff officers there," the head of the region emphasized in a statement, noting that there is a "relative ceasefire" on the front line because, after the last offensive, the russian invaders suffered losses in personnel and equipment.
"The mood of the collaborators in the Luhansk region is now demoralized," the head of the region said.
It also became known that russian equipment was being removed from occupied Luhansk schools where the russian troops had previously stored it.
To recap, the russian army's offensive in the Luhansk region continues, but its maximum phase has not yet been recorded.
As Rubryka reported recently, russian troops advanced in the Kreminna area with a company of tanks and infantry. But this breakthrough attempt ended with the russian equipment being burned.
Earlier, the head of the Luhansk region, Serhii Haidai, said that the russian troops had suffered heavy losses in the last two days, trying to break through in the Kreminna and Svatove directions. The russian army was forced to retreat.
