Last salt from occupied Soledar to be sold to fundraise for military

The United24 fundraising platform and the Artemsil salt production company presented a special batch of branded packaged salt extracted from the mines of war-battered Soledar, Donetsk region.

What is the problem?

As early as the summer of 2022, the Artemsil salt in branded packaging disappeared from supermarkets. The original layout was destroyed, and the paper, which was purchased, in particular, from the Rubizhne Cardboard and Packaging Plant, Donetsk region, is unavailable due to the temporary occupation of the area, United24 reports.

In addition, in the spring of 2022, the occupiers destroyed the shops, equipment, and buildings of the Artemsil company in Soledar. Salt was no longer mined in the Soledar mines for the first time since the Second World War.

What is the solution?

The batch of 20 tons was divided into 100,000 symbolic packages with illustrations by Artem Husiev with the inscription "Might. Ukrainian rock."

How does it work?

You can buy salt at the Silpo supermarket chain or order online at the Rozetka online retail. A pack of salt costs 500 hryvnias.

Of this sum, 465 hryvnias are funds that will be directed to forming a flotilla of kamikaze drones for Ukraine's defense intelligence.

You can buy a special edition of Artemsil salt only in Ukraine. Since salt is recognized as a strategic product, its export in any form is currently prohibited, so it's unavailable to buy abroad.
