As russia responds to peace plan with new strikes, Zelensky urges world to take action
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, insists on including adequate restrictions in the 10th package of sanctions of the European Union against Russia to respond to the actions of the terrorist state.
He said this during a joint press conference with Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in Kyiv, "Ukrinform" reports.
"Right now, the 10th sanctions package of the European Union is being prepared; its content must be adequate to the real situation. russia responds with new missile strikes and strikes by Iranian "Shahed" drones to the peace formula proposed by Ukraine, and therefore the world must respond with new pressure on the terrorist state," – the Head of State emphasized.
Zelensky thanked Sweden for understanding this process.
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine is counting on the specific support of the Swedish side of the Ukrainian peace formula – 10 points for restoring the security of Ukraine and the whole of Europe, as well as reliable security guarantees.
"The formula is something that must work," the President is convinced.
