27 civilians found dead in liberated Snihurivka

Law enforcement officers found the bodies of 27 dead civilians in the de-occupied town of Snihurivka in the Mykolaiv region.

Dmytro Kazak, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, said this during a briefing on February 15, "Ukrinform" reports.

"27 bodies of dead civilians were found in de-occupied Snigurivka. They all have signs of violent death, particularly bullet wounds, explosive injuries, etc. Criminal proceedings have been initiated, and persons involved in these crimes are being established," Kazak said.

At the same time, he emphasized that no mass burial sites were found here, as in Bucha in the Kyiv region. All the bodies were in separate graves.

For reference:

Russian troops occupied the town of Snihurivka in the Mykolaiv region for more than eight months. Snihurivka has strategic importance as it is a railway hub and shields the road to Kherson, which is why russians were doing their best to hold it. The town experienced all horrors of the russian occupation, including torture chambers and looting. On November 10, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the city from invaders.
