Moldova to reopen airspace after temporary closure
Moldova reopened its airspace after several hours of closure, but the reasons for the suspension of aircraft flights have not yet been officially disclosed.
"European Pravda" reports this information.
It is noted that the statement confirming the temporary closure of the airspace was published by the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova (AAC). The reason for the decision was called "ensuring the security and protection of civil aviation."
"After the interdepartmental airspace management commission meeting, a Notice To Air Missions (NOTAM) on the temporary closure of the airspace of the Republic of Moldova at 11:24 a.m. on February 14 to ensure the safety and security of civil aviation was issued. At 2:47 p.m., the airspace was reopened," the message emphasized.
The department promised to provide more detailed information soon.
It should be noted that earlier on Tuesday, February 14, the Moldovan mass media reported on the closure of the country's airspace for security reasons.
The official reasons for this decision have not been reported yet.
UPD: the reason for the temporary closure of Moldova's airspace was an unknown aircraft similar to a weather probe, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova.

At the EU summit in Brussels, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that Ukrainian intelligence intercepted the kremlin's plans to take control of Moldova.
After that, the Ukrainian leader immediately passed on all the information to his colleague, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
On February 13, Sandu gave a special briefing, where she disclosed the details provided by Ukraine.
The kremlin was allegedly preparing forceful actions involving military saboteurs from outside the country – from russia, belarus, Serbia, and Montenegro.
On February 14, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the russian federation called the statements of Ukraine and Moldova that moscow was preparing forces for destabilization and an attempted coup d'état in Moldova "unsubstantiated disinformation."
