"Ukroboronprom" State Concern, which is the Ukrainian state manufacturer of weapons, and a NATO member state, started producing 120 mm mines jointly.
Rubryka informs, referring to "Ukroboronprom" State Concern.
It is reported that 120-mm mines are manufactured using modern technologies. Production facilities are dispersed. In particular, some of them are located in one of the European countries.
The ammunition is guaranteed to hit hostile infantry from 25 m to 60 m, with fragments spreading up to 250 meters. Moreover, the 120 mm mine can destroy engineering structures and lightly armoured vehicles.

Recently, a contract was signed with Ukraine's Defense Ministry for the supply of these munitions, so the Ukrainian military will receive them soon," the ministry announced.
"Ukroboronprom" did not name the NATO country with which the contract was signed.
It is emphasized that the 120-mm mortar can hit targets at a distance of up to 7 kilometers and, with modern ammunition – at a distance of more than 8 kilometers.
"Ukroboronprom" State Concern also stressed that the 120-mm mortar is one of the most widespread types of artillery weapons in Ukraine and is actively used by the Armed Forces.
