Three injured in russian missile attack on downtown Kharkiv

A Russian missile struck a residential building in the center of Kharkiv on Sunday, February 5, with casualties recorded.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said this in a post on Telegram.

"One of the missiles hit a residential building in the center of Kharkiv. Currently, we know about a fire in a residential building and one injured person," he wrote.

Kharkiv region governor Oleh Syniehubov said three people had been injured in the attack.

"Currently, three people are known to have been injured: a 54-year-old woman and two men, aged 51 and 55. The woman was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, whereas the men were treated on the spot," he wrote.

Early on February 5, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kharkiv.
