Government committee approves three-year anti-corruption plan
The Government Committee on Security, Defense, and Law Enforcement approved the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025.
The Cabinet of Ministers will consider it.
Rubryka writes about this with reference to the press service of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
According to the draft document text, its main goal is to progress in preventing and countering corruption, as well as ensuring coherence and systematic anti-corruption activities of all state authorities and local self-government bodies.
Also, the implementation of such a program should bring Ukraine closer to membership in the European Union, NATO, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Andriy Vyshnevskyi, the deputy chairman of the NAPC, said:
"NAPC processed all the controversial positions and comments that came to the SAP project as carefully as possible, settling almost all disagreements without losing the main anti-corruption content. The next stage should be the consideration and approval of the document at the government meeting."
It should be noted that Ukraine rose by six positions compared to last year in Transparency International's index of perception of corruption-2022.
