The Ukrainian military-political leadership understands all the threats and challenges and is preparing to repel a possible attack by the russian federation.

Rubryka writes about this, referring to the Facebook of the press service of the NSDC, which quotes Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

The press service reported that the military-political leadership of Ukraine, as Danilov emphasized, understands all threats and challenges and is preparing to repel a possible offensive by the russian federation.

"The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, conducts daily negotiations with his foreign colleagues about military aid to Ukraine, work on strengthening defense capabilities continues daily," Danilov said.

The Secretary of the National Security Council noted that this is a challenge, but Ukraine will withstand it. Because February 24 last year was much more difficult.

"We were alone with the aggressor country; they did not believe in our ability to withstand a blow. Now the situation is completely different," Danilov explained.

The National Security and Defense Council head also noted that the russians' appeal to Iran and North Korea for military aid shows the inability to produce high-precision missiles in sufficient numbers on the territory of the russian federation.

According to Danilov, it is now difficult to predict whether such aid will come to the russian federation from the mentioned countries.

"At least we haven't seen Iranian missiles yet," he noted.

At the same time, adding that the missiles with which the enemy is firing at Ukraine are russian-made.

Regarding the mobilization in Ukraine, Danilov reminded that it has been ongoing since February 24 last year in connection with the introduction of the legal regime of martial law on Ukraine's territory and the defense plan's implementation.

"It is taking place in a calm, balanced manner; we are mobilizing a sufficient number of people that the Armed Forces need," the head of the NSDC stressed.

At the same time, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council drew attention to the fact that recently, the russian federation, via messengers, has broadcast video content that "has nothing to do with the situation" and is aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces.

"Our intelligence warns that the level of information and psychological operations on the part of the russian federation will grow exponentially; we need to be very careful with information. This is a challenge for the whole world, not only for Ukraine," Danilov said.

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Major General Kyrylo Budanov, believes that this year russia will probably focus on occupying a larger area in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

It will be recalled that, according to General Ben Godges, the battle for Crimea will be key in russia's war against Ukraine. He also believes that Ukraine can liberate the island during 2023.

"The decisive terrain for this war is Crimea. The Ukrainian government knows that they cannot settle for Russia retaining control of Crimea," the message reads.

It should be noted that the former director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, General David Petraeus, believes that during a possible offensive in the spring or summer, the Armed Forces may cut off the land corridor to occupied Crimea. And then interrupt its support through the Kerch Bridge.
