On January 29, russian troops carried out a massive shelling of Kherson, resulting in several civilian infrastructure objects being damaged: the Kherson Regional Clinical Hospital, a school, a bus station, a post office, a bank, and residential buildings.

Kherson was shelled 13 times. According to the police, the russian army targeted the river bank areas of Kherson, damaging a hospital and a school, a bank, the territory of the port and ships, a bus station, a post office, and a utility company. Buses and private and apartment buildings caught fire.

The Kherson regional military administration reported on Telegram that three people were killed and six were injured.

Later it became known that the number of victims of the russian shelling on January 29 increased to 10. Kherson City Council reported on Telegram:

"Information about the victims after yesterday's attacks on the city has been updated: it became known about ten people who received injuries of varying degrees of severity, and three people died," the message says.

The city council also reported that on January 30, russian troops had already carried out two shellings of Kherson. A garage was destroyed, and residential buildings, cars, and the power grid were damaged. There are no dead or injured.

The prosecutor's office has opened criminal proceedings on the fact of the January 29 shelling by the russian military, the agency's press service reported on Telegram.
