Cambodia and Japan are training Ukrainian sappers to defuse explosives, which have accumulated a lot on the territory of Ukraine due to russia's attack.

The two countries' governments announced that they have already started training Ukrainian specialists.
Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi and Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhon agreed on Tuesday that their countries would continue to cooperate on the matter.

Back in the fall of 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during a telephone conversation with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, persuaded him to provide Ukraine with demining specialists to train Ukrainian sappers.
