Ukraine to receive equipment for power system restoration from Sweden

The state company Svenska kraftnät received permission from the Swedish government to hand over the equipment needed to restore the power system to Ukraine after the shelling of the russian federation.

"The company Svenska Kraftnät has identified materials that it could transfer to Ukraine that would be useful for this country's energy supply. Now the government has decided that the equipment can be donated. Svenska Kraftnät will not have the right to transfer state property without a government decision on this issue," the message says.
At the same time, it is emphasized that Svenska Kraftnät sent a request to the government, finding that some equipment is such that it can be transferred and can be useful in Ukraine.
Svenska Kraftnät is currently negotiating with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) regarding the transportation of donated materials to Ukraine.
