Rubryka reports, referring to the statement of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during his speech in Davos.
"This is not just intention. This is our land. Our goal is to de-occupy all our territories. Crimea is our land, and Crimea is our territory. This is our sea and our mountains. Give us heavy weapons, and we will return our territories," Zelensky said.
According to the Ukrainian leader, russia still has an opportunity to withdraw from this territory and from all it has occupied since 2014.
"Because no one says that it is possible to restore relations, but they can save the lives of their people. I don't think about their lives. I think that these are their lives, society, and future," Zelensky added.
The United States does not dictate to Ukraine precisely which targets its forces should hit to protect its sovereign territory from russian aggression. And this also applies to Crimea.
The plans of the Ukrainian troops included the liberation of all occupied territories, including Crimea. Maybe it will happen already in 2023. The chief of Ukrainian intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, believes that Ukraine will return to the temporarily occupied Crimea by combining military force and diplomacy.
During his speech in Davos, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said he is not entirely sure that the dictator of the aggressor country, vladimir putin, is still alive, and he does not understand who to talk to in russia.
"I don't quite understand who to talk to and about what. I'm not sure that the president of russia, who sometimes appears on the chromakey, is him. I don't understand if he is alive if he makes decisions, or who makes decisions there. What kind of people? I have no such information.
I don't quite understand how you can promise European leaders one thing and launch a full-scale invasion of a country the next day. I don't quite understand who we are dealing with. When we say 'peace talks,' I don't quite understand with whom," Zelensky emphasized.
The Ukrainian leader gave an example of how to communicate.
"We are communicating now; you know exactly who I am, and I know exactly who you are. There are witnesses of our lives. And even if we speak about different things, we can reach a consensus.
It seems to me that russia should first find 'someone' and then offer 'something,'" the President emphasized.
In addition, Zelensky called on partner countries not to delay military aid and noted that "long-range systems" are needed to launch strikes on temporarily occupied territories.
The President considers it a priority task "to protect our weak points, where the enemy is hitting. Air defense is a weak point. Iranian drones, hundreds of them, are hitting us. Currently, russia is preparing to use another package."
"We need to do everything so that people are in the cities so that business works, so we need a 'financial cushion.' Eighteen billion euros for 2023 will help," he said.
The Ukrainian leader noted that equipment is needed to advance on the battlefield.
"Artillery, projectiles, the shortage of which I mentioned. We need systems that can work at a long distance. We are not talking about russia, but about our temporarily occupied territories, where missiles fly from, for example, the Kherson region. There are weapons we cannot get to," Zelensky said.
