In the last 24 hours, the russian occupying forces attacked the Kherson region 102 times. The russians fired artillery, multiple rocket launchers, mortars, tanks, and drones.

The head of the region reported that the russians shelled Kherson 36 times. The city's residential quarters once again came under the fire of the occupiers. Enemy shells hit the boarding school building, hospital, and residential buildings.

The russian military shelled the temporarily occupied Kakhovka. As a result of the shelling, houses were damaged in the city's center, the Kakhovka city territorial community reported.
The russian army does not stop striking the population centers of the Berislav district. This was reported by the head of the Berislav district military administration, Volodymyr Litvinov, on Telegram.
On January 16, Berislav, Novooleksandrivka, Mylove, and Tiahynka territorial communities came under enemy fire from the occupiers.
The infrastructure of Beryslav, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Mylovr, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Tiahynka, and Lvove was most affected by the shelling. One person was injured.
Yanushevych emphasized that one person was killed and two residents of the Kherson region were severely injured due to russian shelling in the last 24 hours.
Situation at frontline
According to Ukraine's General Staff, the occupiers do not stop terrorizing the civilian population in the Kherson direction. In particular, mortar and artillery strike Sablukivka, Kachkarivka, Olhivka, Tiahynka, Inhulets, and Kherson.
In the temporarily occupied territories, in the settlements of Zavodivka, Hornostaivka, and Kairy of the Kherson region, the occupiers stopped broadcasting all Ukrainian TV channels; only russian television is broadcast.
