President's Office announced terms when Ukraine might receive necessary heavy tanks
In the next few months, Ukraine should receive the necessary heavy tanks. The supply taboo has already been completely lifted.
Rubryka reports this with reference to the statement of the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podolyak, on the air of the telethon.
"Look, the taboo (on the supply of tanks to Ukraine – ed.) has definitely been lifted. We are not talking just about symbolism now; it is the final practical decision of our partners that Ukraine must fulfill all its tasks in this war (going back to 1991 borders — ed.), and Ukraine must be provided with any opportunities for this, including armored vehicles," Podolyak noted.
According to him, Ukraine's partners have realized that the armored vehicles transferred to it will not intensify the conflict but, on the contrary, will reduce the riskiness of this conflict and its scaling.
"Already today, the allied countries are deciding how many and which tanks they will provide us, meaning heavy ones. For example, the British are ready to provide the Challenger. And I think that logistically it will be resolved. One and a half to two months, and we will have the heavy equipment we need," Podolyak said.
