President of Poland is convinced Ukraine meets conditions for joining EU

In very difficult conditions, Ukraine managed to fulfill its obligations regarding EU membership and fully complies with the requirements for joining the Community.

The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, emphasized this during a joint press conference in Lviv with the Presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania Volodymyr Zelensky and Gitanas Nauseda, Ukrinform reports.

As Duda noted, the Ukrainian government and society demonstrate "extreme determination" in the matter of EU integration. According to him, despite being in a very difficult situation, Ukraine managed to fulfill its obligations regarding rapprochement with the EU.

"I am sure that Ukraine fully meets the conditions to join the EU," Duda emphasized.

He added that the leaders and societies of other countries would also do everything possible for Ukraine to become a member of the European Union.

The President of the Republic of Poland noted that the support of Ukraine from the NATO countries is very important, and more military aid is needed because russia will continue this war and systematic actions to destroy Ukraine, the infrastructure of Ukrainian cities.

"This aggression must be stopped, and that is why NATO should support Ukraine by providing modern military equipment," Duda emphasized.

In his opinion, it is important that other countries of the Alliance join in providing military aid to Ukraine. At the same time, he assured that Poland would do everything possible to provide such assistance to Kyiv.

"We know what the russian occupier is; we support and will continue to support Ukraine in the future," the Polish leader emphasized.
