Also, in her message, British Ambassador Melinda Simmons noted that the continuation of massive strikes once again testifies to the Kremlin's lack of real intentions to negotiate peace.
"Russia rejects President Zelensky's peace plan. Russia does not want peace with Ukraine. Russia wants the subjugation of Ukraine," the ambassador stressed.

In addition to the ambassadors of these two countries, Moldovan President Maia Sandu and French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna also condemned the missile strike.
Attacks against 🇺🇦 civilian infrastructure continue before New Year's Eve, as Russia launches another massive rocket strike against Ukraine. We strongly condemn these merciless attacks on 🇺🇦 citizens. People should be close to their loved ones & not hide in shelters from rockets.

We will remind you that previous mass attacks repeatedly led to power outages in Moldova, whose energy system is closely connected to the Ukrainian one.
Also, several times, on December 5 and October 31, rocket fragments fell on the border territory of Moldova.
