Natalia Humenyuk, head of the joint press center of Ukraine's South Defense Forces, stated this on the telethon.

"It is obvious that the russians are preparing for something. Currently, there are one surface and two underwater missile carriers in the sea, with 16 Kalibr-type missiles. We remember that they tend to repeat operations more or less significant for them. Therefore, if you recall how they prepared for a massive missile strike on December 5, when they took both missile carriers out to sea and raised strategic and tactical aviation, everything is very similar now. We are ready for this. We realize that such a possibility is a blow," Humeniuk stressed.

She also noted that the enemy could inflict massive and spot strikes.

"The fact that they are running out of reserves is understandable because they are using them, but the enemy cannot be underestimated. The russians are trying to replenish their reserves despite sanctions and limitations in their capacities. We see that they are looking for an opportunity to delay the course of events, to take the so-called operational pause to raise reserves and continue their 'victory show,' as they believe. But our opposition is adequate. We will not give them that pause because we realize that we need to win our independence as quickly as possible," Humeniuk emphasized.
