UA defense minister shares new US military aid package details
Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov thanked the United States for the new military aid package and shared information about the weapons Ukraine is about to receive.

"Another US military aid package for the Ukrainian army is not a Christmas present. These are what is necessary for work: on holidays & weekdays, during the day & night, in the snow, rain & heat. This is a struggle for life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness," Reznikov stressed.
The list of military aid includes:
- one Patriot system;
- 500 high-precision 155-mm artillery shells;
- 45, 000 152-mm artillery shells;
- 20,000 122-mm artillery shells;
- 100,000 125-mm tank ammunition;
- 30 mortar systems of various calibers;
- 37 armored vehicles "Cougar" (MRAP);
- 120 HMMWV light tactical off-road armored vehicles;
- night vision devices;
- satellite terminals and their maintenance, etc.

We will remind you that US President Joe Biden ordered the allocation of $1 billion for defense assistance to Ukraine. Then the US State Department announced aid for another 850 million dollars.
Later, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken officially announced a new military aid package for Ukraine for $1.85 billion. This package also provides for the Patriot air defense system.
