Almost 80% of citizens are optimistic about Ukraine's future — survey
Despite the continuation of the war and economic, social, and energy problems, 78.5% of our citizens are optimistic about the future of Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the survey results of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
As sociologists reported, despite the full-scale war and the social, economic, and energy problems caused by it:
78.5% of respondents are optimistic about the future of Ukraine,
88% are optimistic about the future of their community.
Photo: KIISThe public opinion poll results showed that a permanent positive attitude and great expectations were formed in Ukraine from "the proposed decentralized model of local self-government when most issues are resolved in the communities," emphasized the Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda.
The study was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology in October-November 2022.
In total, 2,000 respondents from the all-Ukrainian sample were asked by telephone interview.
