Finland will send new batch of military aid to Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of Finland announced the provision of the eleventh batch of military aid to Ukraine.

This is reported by Yle.

"The battle for the defense of Ukraine continues. The need for military equipment is great. We will continue our support," Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen said.

It is noted that the value of the cargo is 28.8 million euros.

For operational and security reasons, the composition, method, and schedule of aid delivery will not be disclosed.

The total value of all packages of defense equipment delivered by Finland to Ukraine is EUR 189.2 million.

The Ministry of Defense also noted that the Defense Forces will continue to participate in the training of the Ukrainian military in Great Britain until the end of 2023.

As you know, in August, Finland sent about 20 instructors on a training mission under the leadership of Great Britain.

Earlier it was reported that at the Riga meeting of the leaders of the countries that are part of the "Joint Expeditionary Force" (JEF), President Sauli Niinisto stated that Finland is preparing a new package of military aid for Ukraine.
