russia started large-scale exercises of Baltic Fleet

In russia, a command and staff exercise has begun in the Kaliningrad region, in which more than 1,500 military personnel, more than 10 warships, and aviation are participating.
The russian "Interfax" writes about this with reference to the press service of the Baltic Fleet of the russian federation.
As it is stated, as part of the exercise, "ship tactical groups will leave their base points at the appointed time and deploy the fleet forces in the designated areas of the Baltic Sea to perform training tasks."
During the exercise, the Baltic Naval Base ship groups will perform "practical missile and artillery fire to destroy the ships and aircraft of a hypothetical enemy."
Also, the servicemen of the anti-submarine diversionary forces and means unit will perform the task of protecting the ships and submarines of the Baltic Fleet, the base, from the diversionary and reconnaissance units of the probable enemy.
And the calculations of the coastal missile complexes "Bal" and "Bastion" will destroy sea targets on the coast of the Kaliningrad region," the press service of the fleet reports.
Also, ship groups have to work out joint actions of sailing in a single marching order, repelling air attack means of a conditional enemy by firing at air targets, and conducting a naval training battle, the Navy said.
