Unmanned fighter jet with Ukrainian engines was successfully tested in Turkey
Successful air tests of the Bayraktar Kızılelma unmanned fighter jet, equipped with Ukrainian-made engines, were conducted in Turkey.
Baykar co-owner Selçuk Bayraktar reports this on Twitter.
At the same time, in the video published by the co-owner of Baykar, you can see how an unmanned fighter aircraft successfully takes off.
It should be noted that Bayraktar Kızılelma is equipped with an AI-25TLT turbojet engine from the Ukrainian company "Motor Sich." The UAV is capable of a maximum speed of up to 800 km/h, a maximum flight duration of 5 hours, and a ceiling of 12 km.
At the same time, the main ability of the drone is to conduct aerial combat, for which it can use air-to-air missiles.
We will remind that on December 3, the company showed a video in which Bayraktar Kızılelma was able to leave the ground for 6 seconds. Its first flight was planned for 2023.
