Ukrainian schoolboy wins at inventions and design exhibition in Taiwan
A schoolboy from the city of Zhovti Vody in the Dnipropetrovsk region became the winner of the international exhibition of inventions and design, which took place in the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung.
Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science reports this.
"Ihor Mykytenko, a student of Lyceum No. 3 from Zhovti Vody in the Dnipropetrovsk region, won the international exhibition of inventions and designs. The 11th-grader's work on analyzing the geography and processing potential of unauthorized garbage dumps in the Dnipropetrovsk region won first place," the message says.
According to the results of the international exhibition of inventions and design, the Ukrainian team won 11 gold, seven silver, and one bronze medals, as well as a special Best Group Award.
KIDE Asia Invention and Design Exhibition were held on December 1-3 in the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung. Eighteen young scientists from 10 regions represented Ukraine.
As reported, the laureates of the President of Ukraine award for young scientists in 2022 have been determined.
