Ukrenergo will receive more than EUR 30 million from Germany for energy system restoration
The German state bank KfW will provide a loan of EUR 32.5 million to Ukraine for the restoration of substations damaged by the enemy.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this.

In addition, the government proposes to redirect part of the loan funds of the European Investment Bank to the reconstruction of one of the key substations of the Kyiv region. At the meeting on Friday, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the corresponding draft law.
Shmyhal also reported that the cities of Belgium handed over the first batch of generators to Ukraine within the framework of the EU initiative "Generators of Hope". Another 100 generators arrived from France, and Norway supplied Ukrainian border guards with generators. Slovakia plans to transfer about 300 generators to Ukraine.
According to Shmyhal, an aid package is currently being agreed upon with Japan, which will include equipment for emergency repairs of the power system and more than 240 generators.
