Estonia will provide financial assistance to Ukrainians affected by war: how it works

The Estonian Refugee Council will provide monetary assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war. Priority for receiving payments is given to the most vulnerable categories of the population.

This was announced by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine on December 4.

The amount of payments is UAH 2,220 for each family member, but not more than for 5 people. Those who do not receive financial support from other programs can count on this help.

Funds will be deposited into the bank account once a month for three months. You can wait up to 5 days for the first payment after the application is confirmed.

Money can be transferred to internally displaced persons or locals of the following regions:

  • Kharkiv,
  • Luhansk,
  • Donetsk,
  • Zaporizhzhia,
  • Kyiv,
  • Sumy,
  • Chernihiv,
  • Mykolaiv,
  • Odesa.

You can learn about which citizens have priority and how to arrange payment in the infographic.
