In russia's Kursk region, part of the region is without power because, according to the authorities, the region was "fired by the Armed Forces of Ukraine."

Governor Roman Starovoit wrote about it.

"Just now, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are shelling the Sudzhan district. In total, about 11 airstrikes have been recorded. There are hits on the power supply facility," he said.

The governor also noted that due to this, the Sudzhan and Korenev districts of the region were partially cut off.

After the shelling, experts will assess the damage and start repairing the damage, Starovoit assures.

The governor added that there is currently no information about the victims.

Two days before that, the governor of the Belgorod region announced the so-called "fire from the Armed Forces."

He said that power lines were damaged in the city of Shebekino, located 8 km from the border with Ukraine, and some people were left without electricity and water.
