Ukraine will receive another 40 generators from EU
Another 40 generators will be provided by the European Union to Ukraine through the civil protection mechanism to help maintain normal life during prolonged power outages.
The EU's chief diplomat Josep Borrell announced this, Rubryka writes.
Borrell wrote on his Twitter: "russia is trying to break the spirit of Ukrainians by hitting the energy infrastructure and using winter conditions as a weapon against the civilian population. At the G7 meeting, we coordinated support. The EU is providing 40 more generators in addition to the 550 already provided through the mechanism of civil protection".
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, was also present at the meeting; he spoke about possible ways to overcome the electricity shortage in Ukraine.
It will be recalled that the urgent G7 meeting at the level of foreign ministers regarding support for Ukraine was initiated by Germany, which chairs the group, after the last massive attack by the russian Federation on Ukrainian infrastructure on November 23.
