Ukraine's delegation visits Israel for air defense talks with IDF
The Ukrainian delegation visited Israel to talk to representatives of the Israel Defense Army (IDF). The parties discussed issues related to anti-missile defense.
The Israeli reporter Moriah Asraf Wahlberg reported this on Twitter.
We will remind you that Israel refuses to provide Ukraine with weapons to fight against russian aggression, obviously, not to spoil relations with russia.
To all official requests of Kyiv to provide air defense systems, Tel Aviv replied that they were not ready for such a step.
As the journalist reported, the delegation from Ukraine included a high-ranking officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and information about the visit was announced in the editorial office on Monday evening.
"A delegation from Kyiv, including a high-ranking serviceman of the Ukrainian army, recently arrived in Israel for a series of meetings with IDF officials.
The purpose of the official visit was to promote the construction of anti-missile defense warning systems for Ukrainians," the publication emphasizes.

Wolberg also notes that Israel wanted to keep the delegation's visit a secret "due to political sensitivity towards Moscow."
To recap, the President of Israel announced "certain restrictions" on the supply of air defense systems to Ukraine.
At the same time, according to the media, Israel provided Ukraine with intelligence data useful for combating Iranian kamikaze drones.
President Volodymyr Zelensky previously announced that former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured the President of Ukraine that he would "figure it out" and "think" how to help Ukraine obtain Israeli air defense systems.
This could be a shift in relations between Ukraine and Israel.
Zelensky said the Israeli side was informed about what Ukraine needs help with.
According to the president, Ukraine is not interested in the "special relations" between Israel and the russian federation, and Ukraine is not asking for weapons that can be used to attack enemies: "We are only interested in defense systems."
