Ukraine will jointly produce and develop heavy weapons and military equipment with at least six NATO members
The state concern Ukroboronprom will jointly produce and develop heavy weapons and military equipment with at least six NATO member countries.
This is stated in a message on the website of the state concern, EP writes.
The message reads: "Ukraine is integrating into NATO's defense-industrial complex.
Ukroboronprom will jointly produce and develop heavy weapons and military equipment with at least 6 member states of the Alliance."
In particular, we are talking about such countries as Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Denmark, and several others, with which agreements have been concluded that do not provide for the disclosure of any data.
Ukroboronprom states: "Thus, we are creating joint defense enterprises, building closed-cycle ammunition production lines, jointly producing armored vehicles and multiple-launch rocket systems, and jointly developing new high-tech weapons. For this, we use both existing capacities and newly created safe places".
"In order to accelerate the development of existing international defense projects and the emergence of new ones, Ukroboronprom and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs agreed on further coordination of actions. This should help attract more foreign partners to strengthen Ukraine's defense-industrial complex," Ukroboronprom added.
One of the last agreements concluded was an agreement with the Czech Republic. State concern Ukroboronprom and the Intergovernmental Defense Cooperation Agency under the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic have agreed to create a joint defense cluster. This happened in accordance with the agreements reached between the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the Czech Prime Minister, Petr Fiala.
