Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation talks on Ukrainian digital technologies export potential
Ukrainian digital technologies are actively implemented and used during the war. These technologies have great export potential after the war's end.
Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, stated this during the Kyiv International Economic Forum, EP writes.
The minister says: "If we talk about what is happening during the war, we have already been able to launch (business, state, public organizations) many products that we can be proud of."
Fedorov explains that during the war, many Ukrainians working in IT began to adapt their skills to solve the tasks and challenges arising now.
"All this is transformed into individual products that have export potential after the war," he added.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation singled out four directions that have great export potential:
- services — the interaction between the registers made it possible, with the help of the "Diia" app (the app allows Ukrainian citizens to use digital documents on their smartphones instead of physical ones for identification and sharing purposes and provides other public services — ed.) to launch the payment of 6,500 hryvnias of "eSupport" assistance, to submit an application for the reconstruction of damaged real estate;
- cyber security — according to Fedorov, the full-scale invasion began even before February 24 — in November, multi-vector cyber attacks began, the task of which was to break all information systems, but there was not a single leak from the registers;
- the sphere of telecommunications and satellite Internet communication;
- military direction — the Delta product, thanks to which you can map intelligence data in real-time and make quick decisions, products related to the field of UAVs, etc.
Fedorov summed up: "The expertise is unique; there is none like it in the world. And it is very important that entrepreneurs and businesses create all this expertise in interaction with the state. The products created are Ukrainian and will be scaled later."
