President’s Office shows how Kherson residents greet Ukrainian defenders in liberated city
Deputy Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko published photos showing how Kherson residents cheerfully greet the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the liberated city.
Tymoshenko shared the corresponding photos on Telegram.
"People were waiting for us for eight months. Eight months, every day, there was a struggle for every centimeter of our land! And here we are!
There is a lot of work ahead – mine clearance, stabilization measures, network repairs. We will do all this! We will rebuild and restore everything!
The war continues and we will free all our people!" the Deputy Head of the President's Office wrote.
As reported, on Friday, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported that Ukraine was restoring control over Kherson, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were entering the city, and the only chance for the Russian military to avoid death was to surrender immediately.
