In turn, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a video from the liberated village of Blahodatne in the Kherson region; the defenders were met with joyful shouts and thanks.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook.

"Soldiers of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Handziuk raised the blue-yellow flag in the liberated Blahodatne of the Kherson region," the message reads.

The video shows a happy woman running to the village council with defenders to raise the Ukrainian flag. She shouts, "Glory to Ukraine!"

In another part of the video, children are jumping happily. People are walking through the village with yellow and blue flags.

Residents came out of their houses to the street and greeted the Ukrainian soldiers with shouts: "Ukrainian forces, guys, thank you, we've been waiting for you!"

The General Staff noted that there is still a lot of work ahead, but the defenders will "continue to liberate our homeland step by step."

At the same time, residents of the right bank of the Kherson region are urged to be extremely careful; they are asked not to touch suspicious objects, abandoned vehicles, and military equipment of the russian federation.

The first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Yurii Sobolevskyi, wrote on Facebook.

"To all residents of the city of Kherson and other settlements of the right-bank Kherson region! You need to be extremely careful in the coming days," he said.

People are asked to minimize movement in the city, not to touch any suspicious objects, including abandoned vehicles and military equipment of the russian federation, and not to enter administrative buildings and places of former enemy deployment; it can be dangerous.
