Ukraine in air defense talks to counter Iranian missiles
Ukrainian defenders have learned how to shoot down Iranian drones with small arms, but Ukraine is negotiating to get anti-aircraft missile systems to shoot down Iranian missiles.
Rubryka reports, referring to the Telegram of the head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak.
"War is a chess game. Our soldiers shot down 12 of 13 Iranian kamikaze drones overnight.
russia made a bet on the suddenness of application and the high cost of destroying these 'cans' for us using air defense. But very quickly, recipes were found, the main ingredient of which was small arms.
We are now actively conducting a dialogue regarding the supply of modern air defense systems. We are working on this every day. We will receive them because someone hopes to bring missiles from Iran to continue the terror of our country," said the Chief-of-Staff.
Yermak emphasized that Ukraine should be one step ahead in military chess.
The head of the President's Office also believes that russia's desire to obtain Iranian missiles only confirms that sanctions are working. Currently, russia's military machine is becoming dependent on Iran under sanctions and from the remains of Soviet tanks that Belarus is repairing.
Yermak emphasized that Ukraine was doing everything possible and impossible to speed up the supply of modern weapons and will preserve its energy, despite russia's dream of destroying Ukrainians.
As Rubryka reported, Ukraine's Air Force believes the russian federation intends to place Iranian missiles north of Ukraine. We have no protection against them.
