EU Energy Commissioner arrives in Kyiv to scale up support for Ukraine's energy
After the russian missile attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson arrived in the capital.
Rubryka reports, referring to Simson's Twitter.
The European Commissioner stated the need to increase support for the Ukrainian energy sector.
"I am in Kyiv today to help scale up support to the #Ukraine energy sector.
Ukrainian energy infrastructure is under targeted attack by Russia—a cruel & inhumane tactic to cause human suffering as the winter is approaching," Simson wrote in a statement.

The European Commissioner stressed that the European Union was ready to help the Ukrainians until they won.
Last week, Kadri Simson called on European Union governments and private companies to donate more money for equipment for Ukraine's energy sector.
Ukraine has sent requests for the supply of energy equipment to help overcome the consequences of russian terrorist attacks on life support systems through the NATO Crisis Response System (Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center, EADRCC) and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (Emergency Response Coordination Center, EARCC).
As Rubryka wrote, the DTEK energy company announced that they used up the entire stock of equipment that was in warehouses after the first two large-scale enemy attacks that occurred on October 10.
It should be noted that since October 10, russia began to carry out massive strikes with missiles and kamikaze drones on the civilian energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
As a result, more than 45 energy facilities were damaged.
Only on October 31, one of the communities of the Kyiv region was hit by russian rockets. Due to massive shelling in the area, energy infrastructure was damaged.
We will remind you that due to the russian rocket fire, 80% of the capital's residents were without water, and 350,000 apartments were without electricity.
