Turkey will continue its effort despite russia's "hesitation" – Erdogan on russia's grain deal exit
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who brokered the agreement on the grain corridor, commented on the announced suspension of russia's participation in the agreement.
Erdogan made his statement at the 8th World Turkish Medical Congress, CNN Turk reports.
Erdogan emphasized the importance of the grain corridor, noting that with its help, it was possible to relatively reduce the food crisis, exporting 9.3 million tons of agricultural products from Ukraine.
"Even though russia is hesitant about the grain deal because Moscow is not given the same opportunity, Turkey will continue its efforts to serve humanity," the Turkish president said, refraining from further details.

According to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, representatives of the UN and Turkey are negotiating with the russian delegation and continue looking for solutions to implement the "grain initiative" fully.
