Indian Defense Minister reminded russia that "nuclear option should not be resorted to"

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, during a conversation with his russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu, emphasized on Wednesday that "nuclear option should not be resorted to by any side."

CNN reports this.

As noted, Singh reaffirmed India's position on the need to follow the path of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the conflict as soon as possible.

He pointed out that the nuclear option should not be resorted to by any side as the prospect of the usage of nuclear or radiological weapons goes against the basic tenets of humanity, according to the statement.

The Indian side reported that the conversation took place at Shoigu's initiative, who reported on the alleged possible use of a "dirty bomb" by Ukraine.
