Ukraine seeks the necessary equipment to restore the energy infrastructure facilities destroyed or damaged by the russian troops in Europe
Oleksandr Kharchenko, the Energy Research Center director, informed us about this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
According to him, despite all the difficulties, recovery is ongoing. Moreover, the Ukrainian energy system is becoming more resistant to attacks.
As the Energy Research Center director says: "The defense is improving; we are getting stronger every day. Many different measures and steps are involved now that mitigate the effects of attacks. Repairs are ongoing."
He said they are in active dialogue with European energy companies in all areas: with manufacturers of the relevant equipment and with operating companies that have certain reserves at times.
Kharchenko also emphasized that not all equipment has reserves. Many are produced only to order. And it takes from half a year to a year and a half to make specific high-tech transformers.
He also talked about the fact that yesterday, October 25, he was at the facility, which was completely destroyed on October 11, and already on October 28, it will be relaunched in a full-fledged work format.
