Rubryka wins Ayn Rand Award for Advancing Liberty in Best Media category
The Ayn Rand Award for Advancing Liberty 2021 ceremony was held on October 22. The award is presented by the Ayn Rand Center in Ukraine to organizations, public figures, and the media for promoting and protecting the value of freedom.
- The Ayn Rand Award for Advancing Liberty was awarded in three nominations—Best Think Tank of 2021, Best Media of 2021, and Best Freedom Advocate of 2021.
In the Best Think Tank of 2021 nomination, the public organization CASE Ukraine won for the Made With Taxpayers' Money initiative. The Institute of Economic Research and Political Consulting was also nominated for the For Fair and Transparent Customs initiative.
Rubryka won the victory in the Best Media of 2021 nomination for many years of work in the field of solutions journalism and the Change Drivers project. Among the nominees were the media Economichna Pravda and the educational initiative, The Last Capitalist.
The Best Freedom Advocate of 2021 award was won by economist, head of economic reforms of the Office of Simple Solutions and Results Yaroslav Romanchuk for promoting the values of financial freedom in Ukraine. Other nominees were the head of the Institute of Economic Leadership, Mykhailo Lavrovskyi, and the military officer and director of the Defense Procurement Reform Project, Artur Pereverziev.
The Ayn Rand Award for Advancing Liberty is an annual award initiated by the public organization Ayn Rand Center in Ukraine. The award aims to recognize and unite Ukrainian organizations, public figures, and media whose work contributes to building a free society in Ukraine.
