Ukraine launches platform to help cultural institutions
The project initiators say that the platform is mainly focused on fundraising.
Rubryka reports, referring to the Save the Spot platform.
What is the problem?
Ukraine has a lot of ancient architecture and many galleries of modern art. Our artists develop their talents and please society. However, since February 24, russia has been destroying our culture. Many museums, zoos, galleries, concert venues, and other cultural institutions were destroyed by bombing. Those who survived the destruction are, at best, closed indefinitely.
What is the solution?
Ukraine's Ministry of Culture and Ukraine's State Agency for Arts and Art Education launched the Save the Spot charity project to help Ukrainian cultural institutions affected by the war.
Save the Spot is an online platform dedicated to targeted financial assistance to specific institutions in the cultural sector.

"On our platform, you can support the institution of your choice by purchasing a ticket, and 100% of the donation will go directly to the institutions so that they can recover and reopen after the end of the war," the developers said.
How does it work?
The initiators say that the platform's target audience is mainly foreigners, that's why only the English-language version of the site is available, but absolutely everyone can help.
The project does not take commissions from the transfer of funds and does not receive profits. The entire amount is sent directly to the recipient's account.
Organizations in need of assistance can join the platform. To do this, you need to send a letter to the developers at: [email protected] or [email protected]. You can view the list of institutions that need help here.
