The official noted that Ukraine has already eliminated almost 50% of the potential of NATO's main threat in the form of Russia.
"Ukraine's membership in NATO will definitely strengthen the Alliance," Yermak emphasized.
We will remind you that since the beginning of the full-scale russian aggression, the Ukrainian military has already destroyed 66,650 invaders, 2,567 tanks, 269 planes, 243 helicopters, and many other enemy equipment.
Earlier, as Rubryka wrote, on September 30, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine had signed an application for accelerated accession to NATO.
The head of state also called on the Western partners to implement the proposals for security guarantees prepared by Ukraine, outlined in the Kyiv Security Compact.
On October 2, the presidents of nine NATO members from Central and Eastern Europe published a joint statement on Sunday, calling on the Alliance to significantly increase military aid to Ukraine.
