British intelligence believes russia is trying to destroy Ukraine’s energy system

The main goal of the massive russian missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine is to cause large-scale damage to the country's energy distribution network

British intelligence noted that since October 10, russia has massively launched attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure and is supporting this increased rate of attacks on targets.

The strikes were carried out by cruise missiles, surface-to-surface anti-aircraft missiles, and Shahed-136 unmanned aerial vehicles supplied by Iran.

"As russia has suffered battlefield setbacks since August, it has highly likely gained a greater willingness to strike civilian infrastructure in addition to Ukrainian military targets," the report emphasizes.

It will be recalled that in Washington, Tehran's statements that Iran allegedly did not transfer kamikaze drones to russia are considered untrue. They are convinced that they are being used against Ukraine.

It was unofficially reported that the US is preparing additional sanctions against Iran due to the sale of missiles to russia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that Iran's provision of weapons to russia to wage a full-scale war makes it an accomplice to aggression and war crimes on the territory of Ukraine.
