Italy will provide Ukraine with a new package of military aid

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov.

It should be noted that at the beginning of October, Italy was already preparing Ukraine's fifth package of military aid. Then the Minister of Defense of Italy, Lorenzo Guerini, reported that the agreed aid decree would allow the transfer of military vehicles, materials, and equipment to the state authorities of Ukraine.

"We are very grateful to the Italian government and Minister of [Defense] Lorenzo Gurini for providing the new package of military assistance to Ukraine that will help us significantly enhance our defense capabilities against russian aggression. Ukraine highly appreciates your support!" Reznikov emphasized.

So far, the minister has not clarified what exactly is included in this aid package.

Military aid from Italy

We will remind you that it was previously reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with Georgia Meloni, the leader of the nationalist-conservative group "Brothers of Italy."

It should be noted that she recently won the parliamentary elections.

Already on October 11, in a speech at the G7 video conference, Zelensky called on France and Italy to provide SAMP-T complexes for air defense.

"And, if possible, they will be needed in the coming months," said Zelensky.

Before that, Italy handed over aid packages, the contents of which were not disclosed. Ukrainian rescuers were provided with fire engines, help with demining de-occupied lands, etc.
