The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe proposes to recognize russia as a terrorist regime, the European Pravda reports.

On October 13, the autumn session of PACE will be held in Strasbourg.

It is presented under the title "Further escalation of aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine."

At this session, they plan to adopt a resolution about russia's aggressive actions. Several amendments have been made to the project. The vote will take place on Thursday afternoon.

One of the amendments emphasizes the need to ensure a comprehensive system of responsibility for severe international law violations caused by the russian federation's aggression against Ukraine, actively cooperating with the Ukrainian authorities in this matter.

In this context, "declare the Russian Federation a terrorist regime."

President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke at the PACE session via video on Thursday and emphasized that PACE could become the first international organization to recognize russia as a terrorist state.

"russia only wants to speak the language of terror. And this is a fact. This fact must be recognized at all levels. Politically, legally and on the battlefield in Ukraine, and by supporting our defense capabilities.

I thank you that PACE can become the first international organization that designates russia as a terrorist state," Zelensky said.

Also, the President of Ukraine noted that there can be no diplomacy with russia today.
