Grain deal: 7 million tons of agricultural products have already been exported through Ukrainian ports
Since the release of the first bulk carrier with Ukrainian grain, 7 million tons of agricultural products have been exported
This is reported by Rubryka, referring to the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
The agency noted that a total of 316 ships with food left Ukrainian ports. They were sent to the countries of Asia, Europe, and Africa.
According to the press service, on October 11, 7 more ships left the ports of Odesa, Pivdenny, and Chornomorsk. On board, there are 177.5 thousand tons of agricultural products for the countries of Africa, Asia, and Europe.
The ministry said that among them is the bulk carrier SEA PEARL J, which will deliver 30,000 tons of wheat to Tunisia.
"The ships LUCKY TRADER and ERDEK also departed from the berths of the Odesa and Pivdenny ports, respectively," the agency emphasized.
The Ministry of Infrastructure confirmed that bulk carriers also left the port of Chornomorsk:
- HAZAR S,
- SEA PEARL J,
- INCE EVRENYE,
- MILINA,
- MAGNUM POWER.
The agreement provides for the unblocking of three Ukrainian ports — "Odesa," "Chornomorsk," and "Pivdenny" — for the export of grain and food. Control over the ports remains with the Ukrainian side.
In Turkey, the Joint Coordination Center inspects ships going to and from Ukraine.
The first ship with Ukrainian grain after February 24 left Odesa port on August 1.
We will remind that the government of Ukraine decided to provide 50 thousand tons of wheat as part of humanitarian aid to the population of Ethiopia and Somalia.
