War crime has no statute of limitation: Presidents of 11 European countries condemn russia’s bombing Ukrainian cities

The presidents of 11 European countries warned russia that bombing peaceful cities is a war crime without a statute of limitations,  European Pravda reports.

They expressed their attitude to the recent events in Ukraine in a joint statement in which they condemned the massive russian missile attacks against Ukrainian cities.

The joint statement was approved by the presidents of Bulgaria, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary.

"We remind you that war crimes and crimes against humanity do not have a statute of limitation and fall under the jurisdiction of courts around the world.

On behalf of our countries, we demand that russia immediately stop attacks on civilian objects," the presidents emphasized in a joint statement.

The leaders of the states noted that they would continue efforts to bring those responsible for the crime to justice.

The presidents also emphasized that public threats to use nuclear weapons by representatives of russia are unacceptable.

"In this context, we reaffirm our commitment to defend our countries and allies," the statement said.

To recap, the leaders of the Group of Seven will hold an urgent meeting on Tuesday due to the massive missile strikes on Ukraine.

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, believes that the massive missile attacks on Ukraine indicate the growing desperation of the Kremlin.
