A large-scale missile attack on the regions of Ukraine is counterproductive for russia and will have devastating consequences for the russian federation, says Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov.

The minister voiced this opinion after analyzing the massive missile attack by russia on October 10.

"The massive attack on October 10 eloquently testifies to their confusion and nervousness. After all, it is counterproductive and will have devastating consequences for russia.

• First, Moscow did not achieve any military objective. On the contrary, our defenders received additional motivation to quickly drive out the enemy, who was shelling the cities in the rear where their loved ones lived.
• Second, no additional arguments are needed to prove that russia is a terrorist state, a state that sponsors terrorism.
• Third, if in recent months, in conversations with partners, we had to look for ways to prevent "fatigue" from Ukraine, now the russians have done everything for us.

They have clearly shown that they are deliberately creating a humanitarian crisis that will affect not only Ukraine but the whole of Europe," Reznikov emphasized.

The minister explained that the destruction of life support infrastructure could trigger new waves of refugees.

After all, hundreds of thousands of people who have returned from Europe may be forced to seek refuge there again.

Yesterday, October 10, russia launched missile strikes on 14 regions of Ukraine, in particular, in Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions.

The main targets of the russian army were energy infrastructure facilities, as a result of which there were interruptions in electricity and water supply and the Internet in several regions.

On the morning of October 10, russian troops used 84 cruise missiles and 24 unmanned aerial vehicles against peaceful cities in Ukraine.

According to the State Emergency Service, as a result of enemy rocket attacks on October 10, 19 Ukrainians were killed, and 105 more were injured.
