Death toll in October 6 attack on Zaporizhzhia climbs to 20
In Zaporizhzhia city center, rescuers, utility workers and volunteers were removing rubble of apartment blocks struck with missiles on October 6 for more than three days. The death toll in the attack increased.
"We have just finished removing Thursday's rubble. Twenty people were killed," Oleksandr Starukh, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said during the nationwide news telethon.
On October 6, at 05:00, the enemy fired several missiles at Zaporizhzhia, hitting two houses in the city center and the private sector. It was possible to rescue 21 people. A child is among those killed.
