Ukraine joined Spain and Portugal in their bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup

As noted in the press service, the Football Federation of Portugal and the Royal Spanish Football Federation included Ukraine in the application for hosting the 2030 World Cup.
Accordingly, UEFA, for its part, immediately expressed its support.

"The example of perseverance and resilience of the Ukrainian people is inspiring. Therefore this initiative is aimed at contributing to the country's recovery during the reconstruction period thanks to the power of football," the press service writes.
The conditions for Ukraine's participation in the application will be discussed.
"From now on, representatives of the Ukrainian side will be included in the Coordinating Committee for the preparation of the bid for the 2030 World Cup, headed by Antonio Laranjo," reports the Ukrainian Football Association.
